If the site survey is preliminary, identify it as preliminary rather than treating it as a manufacturing size.

Can the sash references be used as complete-window limits?

No. The stated opening-sash width and recommended area concern the operable part. A larger assembly with fixed panels needs its own layout, glass and structural review. Neither a catalogue dimension nor a thermal-break label is project approval.

Does Low-E glass also establish an acoustic rating?

No. Low-E selection and acoustic selection answer different questions. Ask for the proposed full build-up and applicable whole-window evidence for each requirement. Do not turn the optional laminated-glass route into an unsupported sound-reduction promise.

Is the integrated screen included in the same decision as a guard?
