Both products carry a 110-series name, but they solve different opening and operating problems.
Start with the room, intended opening and project requirements. The integrated-screen casement uses a hinged opening and compression-sealing approach; the three-track window uses sliding movement without an inward sash sweep. The following comparison uses Cavorlen's supplied product references. It is not a comparison of every manufacturer's 110 system.
Put the documented configurations side by side
Both references list thermal-break aluminium construction and a standard 5 + 12A + 5 mm tempered insulating-glass build-up. That shared glazing description does not make the complete windows thermally or acoustically identical. The frame, seals, hardware, opening size and installation remain part of the performance question.
Keep the base configuration separate from requested upgrades. A quotation using laminated or Low-E glazing should identify the actual build-up, not leave the standard glass description in one document and an upgrade only in a message.
| Item | Integrated-screen casement | Three-track sliding |
|---|---|---|
| Movement | Hinged opening with integrated inner screen | Sliding along three tracks |
| Reference wall thickness | 1.8 mm | At least 1.8 mm |
| Standard glass | 5 + 12A + 5 mm tempered insulating glass | 5 + 12A + 5 mm tempered insulating glass |
| Standard hardware reference | Jinruinas; CMECH is an optional upgrade | Bogao, including automatic lock and quiet rollers |
| Sizing reference | Sash width up to 750 mm; recommended area not over 1.0 m² | Width up to 2,000 mm, height up to 1,500 mm and area up to 2.2 m² |
| Selection question | Can the intended sash and screen be operated in the room? | Does the panel layout give the intended opening and track access? |
Read width, height and area limits together
For the sliding reference, multiplying the maximum listed width and height gives 3.0 m², which exceeds the separately listed 2.2 m² reference area. The individual maxima therefore cannot be combined into an automatically acceptable sash. Submit the actual dimensions for review rather than ordering a 2,000 × 1,500 mm sash from the table.
Likewise, staying within a casement width reference does not by itself establish that the area, glass mass, hardware, wind exposure and installation are suitable. These are preliminary series references, not a project load calculation or performance approval. Ask the supplier to identify the proposed sash and any configuration changes on the drawing.
Choose by the room and evidence, not a universal winner
Where a sash sweep would interfere with the room, examine the sliding route with the final counter, furniture and screen included. Where compression sealing is a priority, examine the casement route and its configuration-specific evidence. The supplied reference describes different sealing characteristics, but it supplies no universal acoustic or energy-rating difference to apply to every opening.
A hypothetical project can use both routes on different marks. Record why each mark uses its selected operation, and compare appearance, hardware and glass together if a consistent elevation is required. An integrated insect screen is not a substitute for separately reviewed security or fall-prevention functions.
Ask for an opening-by-opening comparison
Send dimensions, quantity, room use, elevation, opening direction, screen need, glazing intent and the required performance evidence. Request a base offer and clearly labelled alternatives. If a proposed size or glass changes, ask which hardware and frame assumptions also change.
Include maintenance access in the comparison: sliding tracks and drainage paths need the product's care route; hinged hardware and the integrated screen need usable operating and service access. Do not convert a showroom movement video into proof of installed performance.
Review the 110 casement product and the 110 sliding product for the current supplied references. Send your 110 opening schedule with the options you want compared.
Allocate the two routes across a project instead of picking one winner
A residential or hotel package can contain several opening conditions. Compare the hinged and sliding routes on each representative room mark, then repeat the approved choice only where the geometry and requirements really repeat. A single whole-building choice made from the 110 label can conceal conflicts at counters, curtains or circulation routes.
Use a hypothetical two-room comparison: room A has a clear operating area, while room B has a counter immediately below the opening. The slider avoids a hinged sweep, but handle reach and screen operation still require review. The casement is not automatically excluded from room B; the actual proposed direction and room detail decide the issue. Neither room example chooses a system without a drawing.
Record the required opening function, actual proposed clear opening, screen arrangement and maintenance access beside each alternative. Do not convert three tracks into an automatic two-thirds opening claim: panel configuration, overlaps and stops must appear in the supplier’s drawing.
| Hold constant | Identify separately |
|---|---|
| Opening mark and quantity | Proposed frame/sash geometry and operation |
| Required room function | Usable opening and screen sequence |
| Project performance brief | Evidence for each offered assembly |
| Delivery and installation scope | Excluded interfaces, options and unresolved decisions |
Ask why the quotations differ
Both supplied references list 5 + 12A + 5 mm standard insulating glass. If an offer changes to a different glass option, separate that change from the change of operating system. Likewise, compare the stated hardware packages and screen scope rather than assuming that all components carrying the same series name are interchangeable.
Ask for a base configuration and one clearly defined alternative for each undecided mark. Require the supplier to state which assumptions remain provisional, including actual size. The sliding reference’s separate size and area limits cannot be combined into a new maximum-size approval; a proposed unit outside a reference condition needs its own review.
Use the existing operating videos to understand movement and the product references to identify the starting configuration. Do not treat those materials as comparative laboratory evidence. A lower quote is a commercial result for the stated scope, not proof of equal air, water, thermal or acoustic performance.
Build the selected configuration into the project package
Use the hotel procurement approach or the residential procurement approach to turn the room decision into a schedule. Send the two proposed 110 alternatives with the quantities and open questions for a comparable quotation.
FAQ
Does 110 mean the two windows have identical performance?
No. It is a series label, not a complete-window performance rating.
Can the sliding sash use every maximum dimension at once?
No. The listed width and height multiplied together exceed the separate reference area. Submit actual geometry for review.
Is Low-E glass included in the standard build-up?
The documented standard is clear tempered insulating glass; Low-E is an option requiring a confirmed quotation.
Can one project use both window types?
Yes, they can be considered mark by mark, with each final configuration and performance requirement reviewed.
