Recommended review approach
Start with one representative apartment and its exceptions rather than multiplying a catalogue price by the number of homes. Mark each exterior opening, internal partition and fixed/operable requirement on the plan. Cavorlen’s documented 110 integrated-screen casement and 110 three-track sliding window provide two configurations to review; neither series name alone establishes project suitability. The supplied 40×18 and 40×65 sliding doors are interior partitions and must not be substituted for exposed balcony doors. Issue room-level choices with quantities and clearly identified assumptions so the full building can be priced consistently.
Performance and package considerations
- Apartment-type baseline: use a type code and individual opening mark together. A repeated floor plan can still have mirrored handing, different corner conditions or different exposure. Record those exceptions. For a hypothetical building with 20 identical apartments and three windows per apartment, the baseline is 60 units only if all three marks repeat without exclusions; common-area windows and spare parts are separate quantities.
- Opening choice: compare sash movement, usable opening, screen sequence and handle reach with the furniture plan. The 110 casement uses hinged operation with an integrated screen; the three-track reference slides. Request the actual opening drawing rather than assuming three tracks guarantee a particular ventilation area. Changing an operable window to fixed requires design review, not just a revised price.
- Configuration return: both supplied 110 references list 5 + 12A + 5 mm standard insulating glass, but this does not establish equal whole-window performance. Identify glass, hardware, finish, screen and actual dimensions in the returned quotation. Price a Low-E or other glazing alternative separately with the required evidence, not as a verbal upgrade after the total.
- Interior package: group kitchen and room partitions separately. The 40×18 three-panel arrangement and the 40×65 route differ in glass and track options. Confirm finished clear passage, floor level, wall thickness and casing. A top-hung proposal requires an agreed support arrangement; a decorative ceiling is not evidence of suitable support.
- Representative approval: review appearance and operation against the selected drawing and component identities. Cavorlen’s product and workshop material supports a concrete configuration discussion; a photograph or operating video does not certify a rating or approve every size in the schedule. Treat larger or changed opening marks as separate technical review items.
- Phased supply: group delivery by building, floor or installation sequence, preserving opening identifiers on packing lists. Separate quantities ready for manufacture from provisional quantities. Do not release the full repeated order while the representative configuration still has an unresolved glass, handing or interface decision.
- Comparable quotations: issue the same mark list and separate units, options, packing, freight, installation and site works. Request an exception list and a decision owner for each provisional row. Send the apartment plan, current schedule and phase quantities through the project review form below for a configuration-based quotation.
Suitable product routes to compare
Final suitability must be confirmed against the actual drawings, opening schedule and project requirements.
Questions buyers ask
Is one system suitable for every opening in this project type?
No. Opening size, use, exposure, glass, hardware and local requirements must be reviewed mark by mark.
What should be sent for an initial review?
Send elevations, the window and door schedule, quantities, project location and known performance requirements.
